"Our Changing Homelands Our Changing Lives" Feature Film Released

11-May-2011

AICBR is pleased to announce the release of our first feature film, Our Changing Homelands Our Changing Lives. Produced in partnership with the Vuntut Gwitchin, this film tells an amazing tale about the people of Old Crow, Yukon. The land that has sustained the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, People of the Lakes, in the Far North of Yukon Canada is undergoing rapid changes from global warming. This film takes you on an incredible journey from nearly 20 years ago to the present, with a community whose very survival is at risk. Our Changing Homelands Our Changing Lives won second place for the Made in the Yukon (MITY) award in the Dawson City International Short Film Festival, April 21-24 2011
