Vuntut Gwitchin Youth Diabetes Workshop
In January 2009, AHRN-YT hosted a gathering in Old Crow where youth participated with the community in various climate change workshops with International Polar Year scientists. As a part of this gathering, the youth also participated in a hands-on diabetes workshop where they not only learned about diabetes but also were able to share their knowledge with the rest of the community.
